Forty-three seasonal routes for Frontier have been cut from their network. All were seasonal and planned to be resumed starting in November 2022, but now will not see a resumption in service. There were 32 domestic and 11 international routes cut; most domestic routes were based out of Florida, and all international routes were to serve Cancun. Interestingly, these route cuts come just days after JetBlue announced its merger with Spirit Airlines.

First, we will look at all the Floridian-based domestic routes, as this is where most routes were scheduled.

And finally, the International flights cut out of Cancun. Cancun was one of Frontier's fastest-growing destinations in 2021, so it's interesting to see so many seasonal routes cut:
Cancun (CUN) - Boston (BOS) (Daily)

Cancun (CUN) - Columbus (CMH) (2x Weekly)
Cancun (CUN) - Dallas/For Worth (DFW) (3x Weekly)

Many airlines have cut routes for the winter already, but for Frontier to cut more than 1,000 flights from its network during the Holiday season is quite tremendous—especially for an ULCC (Ultra Low Cost Carrier) that makes most of its revenue on these flights. It will be interesting to see how such a massive change and flight reduction affect other carriers and what those other carriers will do.
