Air India has increased its services to Dubai, UAE, by introducing more direct flights from Delhi and Mumbai as part of the consolidation process between Air India and Air India Express.

As per the current summer schedule, Air India has augmented the frequency of flights, with up to 10 daily flights between Delhi and Dubai in both directions, including a new flight that commences on 29th April 2023.
Air India now also operates up to six daily flights between Mumbai and Dubai in both directions, translating to eight daily flights each way to Dubai from the two Indian cities for most of the week.
Air India Expansion to Dubai
Air India has optimized its flight timings to and from Dubai, UAE, by spreading them throughout the day, offering passengers the flexibility to choose between morning, afternoon, and evening departures as per their preferences.

This move is part of the network alignment process between Air India and Air India Express. It aims to achieve synergy by increasing its presence on more commercially viable routes and reducing frequencies on overlapping routes.
Air India has assigned its Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner planes, equipped with 18 Business Class fully-flat beds and 238 Economy Class seats, on most of its daily flights between Delhi and Mumbai to Dubai. The remaining flights are serviced by Airbus A320/321 aircraft.
